About our pets

Our pets are a big part of our lives. They also impact nearly every decision we make about our furniture and home decor. Meet the crew!

Libby is a 6 year old pit bull-hound mix who we adopted from a rescue group when she was a puppy. She was also Meredith’s first spay surgery in veterinary school. Libby loves playing outside and sunning herself on the patio. She is an expert snuggler.

James is a 1 year old yellow lab who we adopted as a rescue last year after he was hit by a car. He had three fractures from the accident, two on his right hind leg and one on his left hind leg. He had surgery, went through physical therapy, and now plays like a normal energetic (crazy) lab! He loves to play fetch and tug-of-war with Libby. He also enjoys sleeping on Meredith’s pillow.

Corgan is an 8 year old sleek black cat who was born on Eric’s couch. His roommate at the time had a cat who had kittens at their apartment. Corgan is Eric’s cat in every way, including her love of computers (lying behind the PC or walking on the keyboard) and strumming guitars (with her claws). She is friendly to visitors and enjoys curling up on the office chair.

Sugar is about 11 years old, and she is the sweetest calico in the world (hey,we’re biased). Meredith adopted her about 7 years ago. Sugar has become a lap cat over the past couple of years and loves lounging on her fuzzy blanket. She also enjoys playing flashlight tag.
